Research as a Service

What does the evidence support, what remains uncertain, and what does that mean for your decision?

RaaS investigates a defined question through the Global Discovery Research System (GDRS) and delivers a complete bespoke package: the investigation itself, and the means for readers to understand, challenge and apply it at the depth their decision requires.

When it is useful

A market needs investigation, an opportunity warrants comparison, a thesis needs testing or a strategic question remains unresolved. A question can be refined and validated at the start; the work need not begin with a fully formed brief.

How we investigate

The Global Discovery Research System (GDRS) structures the work from the question and scope through source discovery, verification, analysis and synthesis. Research relies primarily on secondary evidence, with human review of material conclusions.

What the evidence must show

We examine source identity, date, context and the precise claim supported. Contradictions, assumptions and material uncertainties remain visible. Findings carry an evidence cut-off date and clear scope limits.

Scope governs the investigation

Primary research, interviews, site visits, paid databases and specialist advice are included only where expressly agreed. Research supports the client’s decision.

A complete bespoke research package

A complete bespoke research package

Every RaaS study includes six elements, tailored to the question and to how readers will use the work.

User guide

Navigation, evidence language and study-specific reading pathways.

Executive deck

A structured briefing of the question, findings and implications.

Full research report

The substantive analysis, method and supporting records.

Executive summary

The central answer, reasoning and qualifications in concise prose.

Executive visual

The key relationships, conditions and implications at a glance.

Reference and link audit

A separate source-checking record, with exceptions and limitations.

The Global Discovery Research System (GDRS) powers RaaS. Findings are bounded by the agreed question, available evidence and date.

Commission the work and agree the use

Define the question, decision context and intended recipients with us. The default research licence is Type-1 for the agreed purpose; broader use or exclusivity can be negotiated. FBP retains its IP.

Findings are bounded

Findings remain bounded by scope, evidence and date. Specialist advice or primary research requires appropriate scope. An FBP reference audit is a source-checking exercise within stated scope, not third-party certification of every calculation or inference.

Begin with the question

Each DSS service is available independently. Further work follows an agreed need and scope. The client retains decision authority.
